Lovely office design and fit with sustainability at it’s core!
RedSix is a vibrant, young practice delivering quality sustainability consultancy services to the construction industry.
As a growing team they wanted to create a contemporary, considered, flexible, and sustainable workspace. Karna’s brief was to design a scheme and furniture that minimised carbon footprint, whilst providing a stylish and flexible space.
Project Summary
We worked with Redsix and their main-contractor collaboratively on the design and fit out from the onset, on the specification, colour scheme and supply chain. We also designed and fabricated the kitchen and all fitted and bespoke furniture in the main office and meeting room.
We designed and built furniture using predominately natural products; solid wood, ply, marmoleum, and introducing sustainable products such as Richlight, Durat, Valchromat which have fantastic eco credentials as well as really adding to the overall look.
The end result is a really contemporary fit, made predominately from natural materials. We are really pleased - particularly with the finishing, detailing and the different textures. It was a great collaborative project and is a great sustainable story.
