Design & Fitout for a new contemporary gift & accessory store
Welcome Things is a cool, contemporary gift & accessory store in the beautiful Royal Arcade in Cardiff.
Owners Jemma and Steve already have successful gift and accessory shops in Cardiff and the brief given to Karna was to create an open, light and scandinavian feel for their new store that really compliments their amazing collection of contemporary accessories and gifts.
Project Summary
Working collaboratively with the customer we designed the space and manufactured perimeter display and storage, matching mobile display and storage units and retail display tables. For the window display we manufactured a flexible window display system with storage on the shopfloor and a collection of display boxes that can be reconfigured.
We manufactured the shop counter with a curved ply facia and a contrasting white surface, matching board for branding and installed bespoke pegboard display from Kreis Design.
The end result is a really contemporary and functional space, made predominately from natural materials. We are really pleased and loved working with Welcome Things!
